I have been gardening at Gracegardens since 1996. It was an empty canvas except for a row of peonies and a Dr. Hewy rose. Now there’s a 5000 gallon pond with waterfall, patios, play areas, sun and shade to dig in. It is a certified wildlife sanctuary and I plant lots of food sources specifically for birds, which I especially love.
Last year my son found an injured Luna Moth, unable to ever fly again. We nursed it and it was a ‘she’, and provided us with the opportunity to be able, after weeks of Dr. Doodling, to release many more Luna Moths from our deck -that was a cool sight!-This is why I garden.
